The Lakes Marching Band will be participating in Northwestern U's Band Day on Sat, Sep 11. Tickets for the game vs. Indiana State are still available at NUSPORTS.COM/Groups. Enter the promo code BD21LAKES.

We are hosting our Life After Lakes event TOMORROW NIGHT @ 6:30p. This event has multiple sessions, multiple presenters and is appropriate for all high school students or any grade level.

D117 is proud to partner with the State of Illinois to provide Covid 19 vaccines to anyone 12 years of age and older on Wednesday, September 22 at Antioch Community High School from 3:30-7pm. No appointments are needed. Walk ins are welcomed.

Yearbooks are in! You can come to Lakes during the following time slots to pick yours up! Thursday, August 5 - 10:30-12:30 Monday, August 9 - 11:00-2:00 For books not picked up… Graduates: books will be available in the main office Current students: books will be passed out the first week of school Other Yearbook News - Portraits Incoming Freshmen, your picture will be taken during orientation or the freshman first day. Sophomores and Juniors - Underclass picture days will be September 8th and 9th during the school day. You will get your picture taken in your English class. Current Seniors - we are working to schedule more Senior Picture time. Covid has made scheduling these dates difficult (photographers are in short supply). More info coming soon.

Hello Incoming Seniors, We will have senior pictures available at Lakes July 28th and 29th. Please log into rootseniors.com to schedule an appointment. When you log in, you will need your subject ID number. This is NOT your school ID. Click the look up my Subject ID button and you can get it there. These pictures are free if you just want to be in the yearbook. I recommend you do not pay for picture proofs, as they will be available online to order. There is a fee for multiple outfits and longer sitting time, but a basic photography package is no cost. Mr. Cook Paul.Cook@chsd117.org

Parking lot seal coating will be taking place on 7/12 - Student Lot South, 7/16- Staff Lot, 7/20- Polley Field Lot, and 8/2 - Student Lot North. These lots will be closed for a few days at a time. Please use the open lots to park. Thank you for your cooperation.

Hello Seniors We are starting senior pictures next week, June 21-24. You should have received an email or letter in the mail about it. Please make an appointment if you can, by going to rootseniors.com You will need to look up your subject ID, using your school ID. Click the look up subject ID link next to the box to find it. You are not required to purchase senior pictures from Root Studios / Hr Imaging, but you must be photographed by Root to be in the 2024 yearbook. There will be more dates available in July, We will announce those soon. There are plenty of time slots available. Please get it done this week if you can to avoid missing the opportunity.
