December's student of the month is senior Addison Webb. Addie has clearly gone above and beyond during her time at ACHS, as her teachers can attest. As always, thanks to our friends at Antioch Pizza and Sequoit Pride for donating gift certificates to our student of the month program. Yay! I have Addie in my CLC English Composition (dual credit) class, and she truly reflects many of our D117 Portrait of a Graduate competencies. Despite being involved in numerous extracurricular activities, she consistently completes her work and manages her time well. I’ve been especially impressed by her perseverance in this writing-intensive course: she has never complained or spoken disrespectfully, even when challenged. Her self-regulation and maturity really stand out.
I love having Addie in my class and will certainly miss her when the semester ends. Congratulations, Addie! You absolutely deserve this recognition! - Rachel Laureano
Addie consistently offers to help, even with tasks outside her responsibilities. She has spent numerous lunch periods and study halls in office 105, helping out cheerfully. Her friendly and welcoming nature makes it difficult not to smile when she's nearby. -Mary Soto
What a great student for December's student of the month! Addie Webb is a ray of sunshine. I can always count on Addie for a pleasant hello and a smile when I see her! Addie Webb is amazing! I've coached her in basketball throughout her four years here, and she is one of the hardest working athletes I've ever had the pleasure to work with. She is extremely coachable because she's always looking to get better for herself and for her teammates. She is supportive of her teammates, and she genuinely wants everyone to be successful, so she's one of the loudest cheerleaders for her teams! She is a natural leader because of her work ethic and her positive attitude, and she's got an amazing wardrobe of "punny" socks that help capture her bubbly nature and her smiling face! Addie Webb is one of the best human beings I've ever met, and I'm so grateful to have had the chance to work with her:) -Jamie D’Andrea

I haven't yet actually had the pleasure of having Addie Webb in class *yet*, but I am beyond excited to get to be her teacher 2nd semester! Her enthusiasm for literally everything in life is nothing short of inspiring. She is so kind and thoughtful; she always wants to make people feel happy and welcome. I genuinely feel lucky to know Addie! -Lindsay Edwardson
Addie is a great role model for our youngest Sequoits. She is involved in athletics for all three seasons and plays at a highly competitive level. She is an integral part of every team that she plays for. She takes challenging classes and excels in every one of them. Those things alone would be enough of an example of why Addie is deserving of this award, but wait, there's more. What I'm most proud of Addie for is her school spirit. Being a member of Sequoit To Sequoit, she has helped to instill the concept of doing things the "Sequoit Way" in many of our freshmen. Lastly, she is a prominent leader for the Cardinal Crazies and can be seen providing support and encouragement to our sports teams as she leads the cheering from the student section. We will miss Addie when she graduates, but we are excited to see all of the great things that she will do at Bradley University. -Dr. Michael Berrie

There are just some people who make your day better without even trying, and Addie is absolutely one of them. She’s the heart and soul of so many mornings, afternoons, and everything in between. On the days that feel a little rough or a little too long, she somehow manages to bring the energy, the laughter, and the light you didn’t even realize you needed.
She just… shows up and makes the room brighter. Every time.
And honestly, could there be a more perfect month for Addie to be nominated? The girl LOVES a holiday—especially Christmas—so this feels like the universe lining things up exactly right.

Addie Webb is a superstar. She is incredibly kind, creative, and thoughtful. She contributes so much to our school community with her joyful school spirit that truly never wavers. You've got a project? Addie Webb is there to help (and make it beautiful).
