INTERNAL CREDIT

CHSD117 developed the District Professional Development as Graduate Credit program (DPDGC) to assist in retaining the highly qualified staff. Certain professional development opportunities and District committee work are available for internal graduate credit hours which can be credited towards movement within the salary schedule.

NATIONAL BOARD COHORT

  • Licensed educators who attain National Board Certification shall receive an additional stipend of $1,000 and one lane change per year for each year in which they hold such certification.

  • Licensed educators who have successfully applied for and entered the National Board Certification Program are eligible to receive an interest-free loan from the District upon submitting proof of payment to the Business Office.

  • Any licensed educator in the MA 60 lane who then receives NBC, shall receive an additional wage amount equivalent to a 2.5% lane change.

GRAD SCHOOL REIMBURSEMENT

After two years of employment, CHSD 117 will provide tuition reimbursement for graduate level courses and/or degrees in programs in curriculum and instruction, content area, technology in teaching, educational leadership and coaching/sport psychology or directly related to School Achievement goals. 

Reimbursement per credit hour is as follows for the next 5 school years.
