District 117 is excited to announce the eighth annual AP Bootcamp event for this summer! All first-time D117 AP students are invited to attend the event on Tuesday, August 12 at Lakes Community High School from 8:00 am - 12:30 pm. This event is designed to help students understand the nature of AP courses and prepare for success in these courses. The event will include break-out sessions focused on skills needed for AP classes, a student panel, and team-building activities. A pizza lunch will also be provided. Transportation to and from the event will not be provided by the district; students will need to provide their own transportation.
