The Lakes Jazz Ensemble has been honored with an invitation to perform at the 2022 Illinois Music Education Conference (IMEC) in Peoria January 26–28 and will be performing:
- Wednesday night, opening for the Central Illinois Jazz Orchestra
- Thursday afternoon in a highlight session at the conference
And will be playing charts by Sammy Nestico, Tommy Wolf, Chick Corea, Pat Matheny, and Bill Reddie. To listen to their set, you can watch a recording of their concert from Friday night on the Lakes YouTube Channel.
