Hi ACHS families,
This afternoon a phone call with a concerning message was received that prompted a security lockdown at ACHS. Police were immediately contacted. Out of an abundance of caution, students were held in the their 7th hour class until the police individually dismissed each classroom. Antioch Community High School students were released at approximately 3:55pm. All after school activities have been cancelled with the exception of away football. No viable threat was identified but ACHS will continue to partner with law enforcement agencies to ensure everyone's safety. All activities will resume tomorrow, October 22.
