The Diversity Ambassadors strive to create a sense of belonging for all students at Lakes Community High School and the surrounding community. We focus on representing each heritage month, service projects, and run the new cultural fair at the end of the year. Color Guard (Fall)

Color Guard uses flags, rifles, sabres and dance to bring the marching band music to life. The team performs with the marching band at parades, halftime at football games, and competitions.

Color Guard (Winter) (combined with ACHS)

Winter Guard is a competitive, indoor performance based activity. The team spins flags, rifles, and sabres combined with dance to create a theatrical production. The team is made up of students from both Antioch Community High School and Lakes Community High School and competes under the name: District 117 Winter Guard.

September 16th

Typically we have practice on Wednesdays 6PM-9PM and either Saturday or Sunday 11AM-6PM. Weekend days/times are subject to change.
Weekend competitions start late January through March.
State/Championships is the first or second weekend of April.

FCCLA

FCCLA: Family Career and Community Leaders of America. Come make new friends! We do service projects together, cook, and bake at meetings! Students in the club also have the opportunity to compete at FCCLA regional competitions in different events like cookie/cake decorating, apparel and design, public speaking and lots more!

Students interested in honing their math skills and competing against students from other schools both locally and statewide should join the Math Team. Competition is held at all levels, freshman through senior, and includes individual, relay team, two -and eight-person teams, calculator team, and oral presentation. Math Team members interact academically and socially with students of other communities throughout the region and state.
