The new collective bargaining agreement outlines ways in which teacher internal and external professional development can be applied towards land change compensation.
District 117 sourced a new professional development system to track internal and external professional growth. Our human resource software company, Frontline(AESOP&Applitrack), also offers a professional development tool. This system allows District 117 to offer internal PD for staff and they can sign up for those opportunities. It also enables staff to sign up and budget for professional growth opportunities outside of our District.
The District 117 main office support staff has verified transcript records and sent this information to all staff for their own verification. The intent was for the District to pre-load all staff current transcript credits and current lane positions to create a baseline in MyLearningPlan. After July 1st of 2017, staff will be able to sign up for opportunities and gain lane change hours.
Staff were emailed their MyLearningPlan account information for the purpose of logging in for the first time and verifying their transcript info and their current lane assignment.
