Spanish Classes Celebrate Dia de los Muertos

Last week, the World Language department celebrated Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead. Every level of Spanish created a project to display on the “ofrenda,” which was placed in the Student Commons.

Día de Muertos is celebrated in Mexico on November 1st and 2nd. During this holiday, those who have departed us are honored through ofrendas, parades, food, and much more.

Here is a close up of just a a few of the students’ projects and the ofrenda!
