Wow, Awesome SPIRIT!
Great Spirit shown yesterday for Beach Day!

The freshman have continued to have the
largest percentage of students dressed showing their Spirit,
but the seniors and juniors are so close.
Sophomores you are getting close.
The Winner will be announced at the Dance on Saturday.
Hope to see all you at the Dance on Saturday.

Summer is still here, it’s going to be 90 degrees!!!

Homecoming Dance Tickets
This is it!  It’s your last day to buy
Homecoming tickets during lunches TODAY!
(NOTE:  There will be NO
after-school ticket sales.)
A ticket purchased ahead is $20 but
will be $30 at the door. You must
present your ID when purchasing tickets.


In conjunction with the
Lake County Superintendents,
Antioch Comm. High School and District 117
will be collecting donations for the
Houston Independent
School District (HISD)
for disaster relief.  Your donations will help
the students of HISD recover and prepare for
the coming school year.  Donations may be in the
form of clothing, shoes, underwear, socks, canned
food, and water.  Please bring your donations to
the main office at ACHS.
(The drive is going to run

September 18 through September 29.)

If you are thinking about playing a sport in college, please attend this session.
You will receive firsthand information from Joe Kinsella,
head women’s softball coach at Lake Forest College. 

7:00-8:15:  College Admission Panel
College Admission Representatives will be at ACHS answering
questions about financial aid, college applications, scholarships,
private vs. public schools, etc.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL
For any girl interested in playing basketball,
there will be an informational pre-season meeting on
Tuesday, September 26th, at 3:00 pm in Room 126.
The meeting will be short, and it will cover open gyms,
try-out dates, and necessary paperwork
