Lake County Provides Relief to Harvey Victims

By Matt Grubb

Following Hurricane Harvey, the Lake County Superintendents hosted a donation drive to help contribute to the schools that were affected by flooding and storm damage. From September 18 to September 28, Lakes and Antioch hosted a clothing and school supplies drive to donate to people that have been devastated by the catastrophic flooding in the Houston area. The district collected new and used clothing, shoes, underwear, socks, uniforms, school supplies, canned food, and water. All donations and supplies that were collected are now being shipped off to the Houston area. The photos included in this album depict scenes from the Lakes and Antioch clothing and supplies collection site.
