Great Job with Western Day, after today, the freshman are still in the lead. Close behind are the seniors and juniors. Sophomores are making up some good ground from earlier in the week. It is still anyone’s chance to become the CLASS with the MOST SPIRIT. Show your best Spirit on Friday with your class colors. Come out to see some great acts and have an awesome bonfire. Only 2 more days to buy your tickets for $20.00. They will $30.00 at the Door. Homecoming Dance Tickets will be on sale in the commons on Tuesday, 9/19, through Friday, 9/22, before school from 7:00 - 7:30 am, during lunches, and after school from 2:50 - 3:15 pm. (NOTE: There will be NO after-school ticket sales on Friday, 9/22.) A ticket purchased ahead is $20 but will be $30 at the door. You must present your ID when purchasing tickets. Avoid long lines and additional cost and buy your tickets early! Chess Team is beginning! Interested? There will be a Chess Team information meeting TODAY, the 21st. Or— just stop in and see Mr. House in Room 109. CHESS TEAM! Psychology Club will meet after school in Room 218 Monday, September 25th. MONEY!! Now that we have your attention ... Into Investing? In conjunction with the Lake County Superintendents, Antioch Comm. High School and District 117 will be collecting donations for the Houston Independent School District (HISD) for disaster relief. Your donations will help the students of HISD recover and prepare for the coming school year. Donations may be in the form of clothing, shoes, underwear, socks, canned food, and water. Please bring your donations to the main office at ACHS. (The drive is going to run September 18 through September 29.) The meeting will be short, and it will cover open gyms, try-out dates, and necessary paperwork.
